HO-2: Broad Form

Tory Tiger Explaining Insurance Policy
"HO-2 form is the slightly fancier cousin of the HO-1. It’s got the same basics—fire, lightning, and other dramatic events—but with a bit more pizzazz. Stuff like falling objects (look out for those rogue pianos) or water damage from busted pipes. It’s the 'I’ll cover more, but don’t push it, buddy' version of insurance. Still not the VIP package, but hey, at least it’s not leaving you high and dry when a tree decides to crash your roof party. Fancy, but not too fancy. Like wearing socks with sandals. Classy… kinda."

HO-2: Broad Form

The HO-2 form, also known as a broad form homeowners insurance policy, provides coverage for a wider range of named perils compared to the HO-1 form. It protects the structure of the home and personal property against specific risks like fire, theft, hail, and falling objects. Additionally, it may include liability coverage and additional living expenses, offering more comprehensive protection than the HO-1 policy.

HO-2 POLICY TYPE: Named Peril

HO-2 PERSONAL PROPERTY COVERAGE: Actual Cash Value (ACV)
